Good question.
Hi, folks! I'm Andi and I...geez. I write. I write across genres, but I'm published in contemporary lesfic. Some of my stuff is mystery-oriented or detective-oriented and other stuff is just stories about life and how some people might live it.
I was born in Albuquerque, NM and then grew up in a ranching town in Colorado. I completed the first 2 of my college degrees in Colorado then went back to NM to do the third (YEAH! Glutton for punishment!) and to learn a bit more about myself and my life. I'm a U.S. Westerner to the bone, which is really hard at the moment because I'm currently living in the U.S. South. Hopefully, that will change in the next 6 months.
Anyway, I've worked as an archaeologist and a historian; I've been involved with publishing and editing for a good 14 years; I was a radio DJ for a while; I've also taught a bit. And there are all the other jobs that I've done to pay the bills. Currently, I write and freelance edit.
Let's see...other stuff. My first book, "Land of Entrapment," is due out summer 2008 (
Regal Crest) and my second, "State of Denial," the following spring (also Regal Crest). I've just had a short story published in an anthology through
Torquere Press. The anthology is "Under This Cowgirl's Hat" and the story is "From the Boots up."

In the Works:
I'm working on the third of what I'm calling the "New Mexico series" and I'm currently bandying about some short story ideas for Halloween, which is one of my fave holidays. I'll keep postin' stories and excerpts, so if you're interested, check in at my sites or drop me a line. I love hearing from people.
Thanks a bunch and as always, keep it real, yo.
